How the Xero HubSpot integration works
HubSpot builds the integration, listed as Data sync by HubSpot in the Xero App Store and as a HubSpot Certified App in the HubSpot marketplace, with around 6,000 installs. A HubSpot Super Admin or a user with App Marketplace permissions connects it. Contacts and products sync one-way or both ways; invoices sync from Xero to HubSpot or both ways; payments applied to invoices sync from Xero to HubSpot or both ways; tax rates come from Xero. Invoices must be open to sync, drafts stay in HubSpot, and invoices using HubSpot's automated sales tax do not sync to Xero. It supports six currencies: USD, CAD, EUR, GBP, AUD and NZD. Custom field mappings, such as a PO number, need Data Hub Starter or higher. Teams that raise invoices from HubSpot deals use a connector: Invoice Stack creates Xero invoices from deals from US$49 a month for 50 deals, and ScaleXP turns Closed Won deals into Xero invoices and adds revenue recognition.
