The Xero Shopify integration is Xero's own app that sends sales, payouts, fees, refunds and taxes from a Shopify store into Xero. It is free on all Xero plans, covers Shopify's online store and POS, and posts either a daily summary or each sale, so payouts match the bank feed.

How the Xero Shopify integration works
Xero builds and owns the integration, and Amaka, an integrations provider, supports it. After connecting the store, the user chooses a daily summary, which Xero recommends for high-volume stores, or per-sale transactions with customer and line-item detail. Shopify Payments payouts are matched to the bank account, with fees, refunds and taxes recorded so the reconciliation balances, and Shopify taxes map to Xero tax rates. Up to 90 days of past sales can be synced. Xero's listing does not mention inventory or multi-currency. Stores with heavier volumes or several sales channels often use a connector instead: A2X prices by monthly orders from US$29 a month, Amaka has a free plan for up to 60 orders a month and paid plans from US$18 a month, and Link My Books starts at £26 a month for up to 500 orders.
