Why it matters
Emblematic raised $2 million in late 2025 to sell accounting agents to mid-sized companies rather than to firms or startups, a segment most AI accounting companies have skipped. It is early, but it fills a gap in the German market between DATEV-based advisers and enterprise ERP.
