Why it matters

Aiwyn raised $113 million from KKR and Bessemer, the largest round any practice management company has taken, and then bought Column Tax to move into tax preparation. With more than 100 top-500 firms as customers it is the best-capitalised challenger to the incumbent firm software vendors.
